Hi, I’m Dr. Roberto Ruiz, and opening Whitehorse Dental right here in Hamilton feels like coming full circle.
I grew up in this community, graduated from Hamilton High West in 2006, then went on to study at Rutgers University – New Brunswick, earning my Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology in 2010. After that, I completed my dental training at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2015. Ten years later, I’m proud to bring that experience back home — to care for the families, neighbors, and friends who shaped me.
Dentistry, to me, isn’t just about fixing teeth. It’s about building trust, easing fears, and helping people feel confident in their smiles. My goal is to make every patient — whether it’s your child’s first visit or your own overdue check-up — feel comfortable, cared for, and genuinely at home in our office.
When I’m not in the practice, you might see me out and about — roller skating, ice skating, practicing yoga, working out, or even trying my hand at circus arts at the Philly Circus School. I also enjoy creative hobbies like making stained glass and even playing Marvel Rivals on PS5.
Whitehorse Dental isn’t just a practice — it’s my way of giving back to Hamilton. I’m here to make sure our community keeps smiling for years to come.
